Lawrence Bishnoi responsible for Gangster Sukhdool Singh’s Murder?

According to a post by his gang on Facebook, Lawrence Bishnoi has claimed responsibility for the murder of Sukhdool Singh in Canada.

In the post, Bishnoi’s gang said Singh, also known as Sukha Dunuke, had played a major role in the killings of Gurlal Brar and Vicky Middkhera.

The gang alleged the murders were planned by Singh while he was staying abroad.

Labelling Singh a “drug addict”, Bishnoi’s gang said he destroyed the lives of many people and that he was ultimately “punished for his sins”.

Bishnoi’s gang also claimed Singh, a member of the Davinder Bambiha crime group, also had a role in Sandeep Nangal Ambiya’s murder.

The gang issued a warning to their enemies, stating they would not be able to live in peace, “even if they hide in India or any other country”.

Lawrence Bishnoi is currently detained in Ahmedabad in a drugs smuggling case, which is being investigated by the National Investigation Agency (NIA).

He is also accused of having a role in the murder of Sidhu Moose Wala.

Originally from Punjab’s Moga, Sukhdool Singh fled to Canada in 2017 after using forged documents to obtain a passport and police clearance certificate.

That was despite Singh having 18 criminal cases registered against him in Punjab.

Sukhdool Singh was killed on the night of September 20, 2023, in what police said was an “inter-gang rivalry”.

It was reported that he was shot dead in Winnipeg.

It is believed that Singh had been financially supporting the Davinder Bambiha gang’s operations in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and Rajasthan.

Singh was a supporter of the Khalistani movement, which seeks an independent homeland for Sikhs in Punjab, India.

He was also an aide of Khalistani supporter Arshdeep Singh.

Through his associates in Punjab, Singh was orchestrating various crimes, including extortion.

On March 14, 2022, Singh conspired to have kabaddi player Sandeep Nangal Ambian killed. He was assassinated in Mallian Khurd, Punjab, by unidentified gunmen during a family trip.

Sukhdool Singh’s killing comes amid growing tensions between India and Canada over the death of Khalistani supporter Hardeep Singh Nijjar.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau claimed that the Indian government was involved in Nijjar’s death, stating that there is “credible evidence”.

India’s Ministry of External Affairs said it “rejected” the claims, adding that allegations of India’s involvement in any act of violence in Canada are “absurd and motivated”.

The statement read: “We are a democratic polity with a strong commitment to rule of law.”
