Who is the Man who Leaked Gungun Gupta’s Explicit Video?
Influencer Gungun Gupta was embroiled in an explicit video leak in November 2023.
A video went viral of a young woman purported to be Gungun.
In the clip, the woman was on a call with a man believed to be her boyfriend.
The caller asked Gungun to perform sex acts for him. The social media personality obliged and carried out the intimate deeds.
At one point, Gungun angled the phone downwards to reveal her trousers were lowered.
She also lifted her top, revealing all to the man.
However, at the time, it was unclear as to who the person on the other end was.
Towards the end of the clip, the caller’s name popped up on the screen.
The man is reportedly named Deepu Chawla. He is said to have been in a relationship with Gungun Gupta.
It is also currently unknown if Deepu has a substantial social media following.
After the clip was leaked, users called him out for his appalling behaviour.
One said: “Her boyfriend leaks her private video… WITHOUT consent.
“No guys. It is NOT some leak. It is an intentional sexual crime.”
However, not everyone was compassionate towards Gungun.
Some wondered whether the video leak may have been planned.
One user commented: “Why is there a need for celebrities to do such videos which may be leaked in future or is it a planned and executed move!!!”
The 19-year-old is very popular on Instagram with 6.1 million followers.
She likes to lip-sync songs and dresses in bright, colourful clothing.
Rumours also circulated that Gungun took her life as a result of the leak. However, this was later proved to be fake news.
Gungun Gupta is not the only Indian internet personality to have explicit clips of them leaked.
Unfortunately, more and more Indian and Pakistani influencers have fallen victim to such crimes in recent months.
TikTok star Ayesha Akram suffered such a leak on November 5, 2023. She unwittingly exposed herself to a caller.
Ayesha gained fame for surviving a sexual assault in Lahore in 2021.
She was shockingly assaulted by over 300 men.
Pakistani influencer Aliza Sehar was also at the centre of a similar scandal too.
A clip of her was leaked in which she bared her chest to a male caller.
The scandal led to speculations that Aliza had been kidnapped after she broke her silence on the matter.
Meanwhile, Punjab’s Sehaj Arora and Gurpreet Kaur were prey to an incident which saw a video of them having sex circulate online.
They are famously known as the ‘Kulhad Pizza’ couple.
Gungun Gupta is yet to speak out on the matter.
