What is Lockwood & Co About?

Lockwood & Co follows three young ghost hunters in London during a haunting epidemic. Two bright lads and a girl with “exceptional psychic powers” make up the trio. Is this story different from the book?

Lockwood & Co is based on Jonathan Stroud’s children’s book series. The award-winning book series consists of five instalments, beginning with The Screaming Staircase in 2013 and concluding with The Empty Grave in 2017.

The series will start with the adaptation of the first novel of the series, The Screaming Staircase. However, it is unclear if multiple books will be covered in one season. We expect each season would cover the events of each book, which would mean a total of five seasons.

There are some inevitable changes here and there. Some parts have been compacted, while others have been teased out a little. However, the main plot, the mechanics of the world, and, most importantly, the characters are all tenaciously adapted to the screen.
