“I want to see India beat Pakistan in the World Cup match tomorrow!

“I will be there at the stadium.

“I don’t follow cricket back home, but I follow Kohli.

“I want to meet him, and I am also excited to meet the Tunak Tunak guy (Daler Mehndi), I am just very excited bruh!”

He ended up meeting Daler Mehndi, who performed ‘Tunak Tunak Tun’.

In a video, Speed is dressed in a kurta and beatboxes over the artist.

iShowSpeed boasts over 20 million subscribers and has enjoyed a fast rise to fame thanks to his energetic personality.

Speed is also known for being a hardcore Cristiano Ronaldo fan, who he met in June 2023.

His second-largest fanbase is in India and Speed admitted that he is aware.

He said: “People have just been telling me ‘come to India’, so here I am.

“I am here to see what India is all about. India has this energy and I can’t wait for it to come out. I am bringing mine out too, and I can’t wait for the two to mix.”

As he left his residence, Speed was mobbed by fans, who had their phones out and were chanting his name.

Enjoying his time with fans, one person asked the internet personality if he knew who Elvish Yadav was.

Struggling to understand the fan’s accent, Speed replies:

“A b***h bhai.”

Fans broke out into laughter before cheering, leaving Speed confused.

Speed then danced with some of his fans before mimicking Cristiano Ronaldo’s signature celebration.

He even got to play cricket. Fans chanted his name as he prepared to bowl.

After doing so, he received applause.

But unhappy with his first attempt, Speed asks to bowl again.

Before he has a chance to bowl, fans mob him for pictures and he is happy to oblige.

It comes after Speed had two live streams shut down by YouTube.

Speaking about his approach to life, iShowSpeed said:

“Yes my stuff goes viral, but I don’t have time to really think about it, life moves with so much speed.”

“It’s an amazing feeling, I feel blessed to wake up each day. You care about those people, and they in turn care about you, it’s like a brother-sister thing.

“That’s what keeps me going. They don’t even know my real name, they just like calling me Speed, it has stuck.

“People ask me about the secret behind my energy, but it’s just always been there like this!”

Speed, whose real name is Darren Jason Watkins Jr, will attend India’s match against Pakistan on October 14, 2023.
