How much did Nayanthara Charge for ‘Jawan’?

Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara are all set to enthral the audience with their performance in their upcoming film, Jawan.

The blockbuster trailer release on August 31 has raised the anticipation level amongst the audience.

Reports are now doing the rounds that the film has reportedly been made on a budget of Rs. 300 crore and Nayanthara has charged a whopping Rs. 11 crore for the film.

However, there has been no confirmation about the same as yet.

The actress will be seen essaying the role of a police officer in the Atlee directorial.

Shah Rukh Khan will be seen as a former soldier who leads a team of six women as they pull off various heists around India.

This is the first time Nayanthara will be seen sharing screen space with the Bollywood superstar.

The trailer features a voiceover from the titular character describing himself as a “king” who keeps losing battles and is full of rage.

It then shows him hijacking a Mumbai train and dancing.

He has a master plan but the person stopping him from achieving his goal is a police officer, played by Nayanthara.

On the phone, she asks him what he wants and he jokingly says he “wants Alia Bhatt”.

While the titular character seems fierce, he also seems to have a sense of humour.

The trailer is packed with glimpses of the characters’ backgrounds as it appears as though Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara’s characters were once married.

Deepika Padukone’s special appearance is also unveiled as she takes Shah Rukh Khan down in a wrestling pit.

She also issues a warning that he will lose to her.

In just over two minutes, Jawan looks to be action-packed, filled with entertaining dialogue and performances.

In other news, Shah Rukh Khan attended Nayanthara’s lavish wedding ceremony with Vignesh Sivan.

She is now a mother of twin sons Uyir and Ulagam.

Nayanthara recently made headlines after she made her Instagram debut on popular demand.

Within 24 hours, she had over one million followers on the platform.

The trailer of Jawan was released on social media on August 31 and later, Shah Rukh Khan jetted off to Dubai for the special screening of the trailer on the Burj Khalifa.
