Ex-BBC Star says Amir Khan ‘made Sexual Advances’ Towards Her
Amir Khan has been accused of sexual harassment by a former BBC presenter after they appeared at an event together.
According to Suzi Mann, the former boxer sent her unwanted messages after they met in 2016 when she hosted a concert in Manchester.
Suzi, who has presented BBC Asian Network’s Official Asian Music Chart Show, said Amir repeatedly messaged her on WhatsApp, “flirting” with her and “making sexual advances”.
In an Instagram post, Suzi told her followers:
“I first met Amir Khan in 2016 whilst I was hosting Arijit Singh in Manchester!
“A couple of days after the concert, I started receiving WhatsApp messages from an unknown number, with someone claiming to be Amir Khan!
“I immediately had to ask, actor or boxer? Unfortunately, it was the latter!
“On a more serious note, these messages continued and then I started to receive calls and voicemails from Amir Khan himself.
“Now I’ve been in this industry too long to not know when someone is flirting and making sexual advances.”
Suzi admitted that she did not feel “comfortable” with his messages but she “remained professional” by choosing not to “entertain” his behaviour.
She continued: “This was not something I felt comfortable with and I chose to not entertain it, but remained professional.”
Suzi then claimed that Amir’s wife Faryal Makhdoom then launched a tirade of “vile, abusive and uncalled for” attacks whilst pretending to be the ex-boxer.
She alleged: “It was apparent she had gotten hold of his phone and seen all the messages he had been sending me.
“She then proceeded to message me pretending to be him, which was immediately obvious because she appeared to have (at the time), a few more brain cells than him.”
Suzi stated that women have “fallen for his lies”, either “reciprocated his advances or… actively pursued relationships”.
She also accused Amir and Faryal of going “out of their way” to “abuse, blackmail, insult and threaten women”.
Suzi Mann said she has decided to call the couple out because “enough is enough”.
The allegations come after it was reported that Amir and Faryal were living separately after he admitted to messaging a bridal model online.
Another woman later came out and claimed that she had a four-month affair with Amir.
He is now seemingly trying to win her back.
In an Instagram post, Amir revealed that he purchased a luxury Mercedes G-Wagon to give to Faryal.
