Alert: Missing Persons Unit is a police procedural crime drama television series created by John Eisendrath and Jamie Foxx. It revolves around a former married couple who work for the Philadelphia Police Department’s Lost Persons Unit and are also trying to find their lost son.
It stars a large cast in key supporting roles, and Scott Caan and Dania Ramirez in the lead roles. The show had its television premiere earlier this year on Fox on January 8, 2023, and has got much of the fans’ attention.

Alert: Missing Persons Unit Season 2 Release Date
FOX renewed the crime drama for a second season in March 2023, and many believed that the show would release new episodes in May or June 2023, however, this was not the case.
All we currently know is that the second season of Alert: Missing Persons Unit won’t air on FOX in 2023. Since it was a midseason show, to begin with, we had been unsure if it would make it to the autumn schedule, but now we have confirmation.
Up until 2024, all of the major scripted series are on hold. So, January 2024 is the earliest we can expect to witness the beginning of Season 2 of Alert: Missing Persons Unit. However, this isn’t guaranteed.
Due to the ongoing Writers Guild of America (WGA) strike, which has affected the production status of multiple scripted shows, production and working of the show has been halted. The studios aren’t bargaining in good faith, so there is a lot in the air right now. So fans will have to wait a little longer to find out what is fixed in stone.

No information about what will happen in Mission Persons Unit season 2 is available. However, the plot of the final episode, “Max,” is intended to be continued in the series.
