Shikhar Dhawan is making headlines once again as a leaked video of him professing his love for a mystery woman which he “took home” has gone viral on social media.

The video shows Dhawan speaking about someone he met at a party in Delhi and feeling instant happiness and comfort in her presence.

In a one-minute-long clip, Dhawan could be seen talking about the apparent new love of his life, someone he referred to as having fallen in “love at first sight”.

Dhawan revealed that he and the woman met at a farmhouse, where they instantly clicked after which it did not take the two much time to hit it off.

He eventually took the mystery woman home and things have positively progressed since then.

Fans are speculating that love could be in the air for the star batter, although it could also be an advertisement.

Shikhar Dhawan recently went through a personal setback when he and his wife of eight years, Ayesha Mukherjee, separated in September 2021.

Currently, he is leading the Punjab Kings in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) and has been in excellent form with the bat.

In three matches, he has scored 225 runs and won the Player of the Match award for his 99-run knock in the most recent match, despite PBKS suffering an eight-wicket loss.

After the match, Dhawan expressed disappointment with the batting unit’s performance, stating that they lost too many wickets in a row and couldn’t put up a big total on the ground, resulting in the team’s loss.

He believed that a score of 175-180 would have been good for the team to defend.

Shikhar Dhawan said: “As a batting unit, we lost too many wickets back to back and couldn’t put up a big total on the ground and because of that, we lost the game.

“175-180 would have been a reasonable score.

“The wicket looked quite good but it was seaming and swinging.”

Despite the loss, Dhawan is grateful for his 99-run score and believes that it is a learning process for the batting unit.

He is happy with his performance and has been showing excellent form in the tournament.

Dhawan continued: “Of course, it was disappointing (seeing wickets keep falling) but the way we thought the wicket was going to play, it was playing differently.

“It was seaming and sometimes kept low. But that’s a learning process for my batting unit and that’s fine.

“I’m very very grateful for 99 because I never thought I’d reach there so I’m very happy.”

PBKS has won two out of three matches so far, thanks in part to Dhawan’s leadership and impressive batting.

The leaked video has caused a stir among fans, who are eagerly waiting to find out more about Dhawan’s personal life.

However, many fans have stated that the video could be either satire or an advertisement.

Regardless of the video’s nature, Dhawan’s focus remains on leading his team to victory in the IPL and performing at his best.
