The series premiered on CBC in 2007. Since then, we have been getting a new season almost every year. And now, Heartland season 17 is on the way. Heartland Season 17 is set to premiere on Oct 1, 2023. Since CBC is not available outside Canada, millions of fans across the world wait for the new season of Heartland to drop on Netflix. As per Unogs, Netflix has streaming rights to Heartland in 20 countries. Out of these 20, every country except the United States and France has already received season 16 of Heartland on Netflix. These countries are:

All countries mentioned above, have seasons 7 to 16 on Netflix. The first six seasons of Heartland were removed from Netflix in these countries.
As of Sep 15, 2023:
- Netflix USA has seasons 1-15 of Heartland (Season 15 arrived on Netflix US on May 31, 2023).
- Netflix international regions except Netflix France have seasons 7 to 16 of Heartland (the first six seasons were removed in January 2022).

Why Heartland Season 16 is not on Netflix US yet?
Season 16 of Heartland premiered on CBC on Oct 2, 2022. It concluded on Feb 5, 2023. Heartland Season 16 dropped on Netflix (international regions) on May 17, 2023.
As mentioned above, Season 16 hasn’t debuted on Netflix US yet. The reason is UP Faith & Family’s exclusive deal to stream the show in the U.S.
Heartland Season 16 premiered on Up Faith & Family, on June 1, 2023. Season 16 will land on Netflix US around a year after its premiere on Up Faith & Family. Since the new season will be exclusive to Up Faith & Family for a year, it will arrive on Netflix US probably in June 2024.
Heartland Season 17 Netflix US Release Date
Unfortunately, there isn’t a Netflix release date for Heartland season 17. In fact, there isn’t even a premiere date on CBC just yet. It is confirmed that the upcoming season will premiere on Oct 1, 2023.
We’re expecting UP Faith & Family to once again have exclusive streaming rights to Heartland season 17 in the U.S. for around a year before Netflix US receives the season. This isn’t confirmed, but we think this might happen again.
So for now, our best prediction for Heartland season 17 release on Netflix US is sometime in 2025.
