Netflix renewed the series last year
Sweet Home first came out on Netflix in December 2020. People had been talking about a second season for a while, but nothing was confirmed until June 2022. Netflix officially renewed the show in June last year. In fact, the streaming giant also announced the third season along with the second season.

With two seasons announced at the same time, we assume that there won’t be a long waiting two or three years between seasons 2 and 3 as we have for seasons 1 and 2.
Sweet Home Season 2 Release Date
Netflix hasn’t revealed the exact date when the second season will be out. However, in early 2023, the streaming giant shared a list of K-dramas that will be released this year, and Sweet Home season 2 was mentioned on that list.
Later, Netflix confirmed Sweet Home season 2 is coming in Q4 2023. In May 2023, Netflix announced its fall 2023 lineup. On that list, Netflix included Sweet Home Season 2, which means that the new season is coming sometime in October or November.
Earlier, Netflix revealed that the new season would be released in the fourth quarter, which means September is not a possibility.
Since most streaming platforms like to release horror shows during the month of October around Halloween, we expect Sweet Home Season 2 to arrive in October 2023.
Sweet Home Season 2 Plot
“Sweet Home” takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where monstrous creatures roam the Earth, preying on humanity. The series follows the residents of Green Home, a rundown apartment complex, as they band together to fight for their lives and uncover the mysteries behind the terrifying transformations.
