Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki Release Date Pushed to Avoid Clash with Prabhas’ Salaar?

Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki and Prabhas’ Salaar are supposed to clash at the box office on Dec 22, 2023. However, the latest reports suggest that this clash may be averted.

Shah Rukh Khan‘s highly anticipated film Dunki is all set to release on Dec 22, 2023. Ever since the announcement of Parabhas’ Salaar’s new release date, there have been fan wars going on social media as both movies are set to engage in a dirty clash.

However, the latest reports suggest that this clash may be averted. Reports indicate that Dunki might face further delays, primarily due to post-production work, particularly concerning VFX. Some reports also claim that Dunki is being pushed to a later date to avoid a clash with Prabhas’ Salaar.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), film trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan wrote, “Buzz: #SalaarVsDunki X #ShahRukhKhan’s #Dunki likely to get POSTPONED. #Prabhas’ #Salaar to get a SOLO record release.”

It is important to note that there hasn’t been an official statement from the Dunki production team yet. However, if the clash gets averted, it has the potential to provide a notable edge to Prabhas’ Salaar, granting it a solo release on December 22, 2023.

Salaar and Dunki are the two most anticipated Indian movies of the year. Salaar is directed by Prashant Neel and stars Prabahs, Shruti Haasan and Prithviraj Sukumarn in the lead roles. While Dunki is helmed by Rajkumar Hirani and also stars Taapsee Pannu in the lead role.

Meanwhile, SRK is back in form at the box office. Both his movies, Pathaan and Jawan, have grossed Rs 1000+ Crore worldwide.
