Netflix renewed the reality series Selling Sunset for the sixth and seventh seasons in 2022. Here’s everything you need to know.

  • Netflix officially renewed the series for a 6th and 7th season on June 23, 2022.
  • Selling Sunset Season 6 dropped on Netflix on May 19, 2023.

Selling Sunset has captivated audiences with its glitz, glamour, and real estate drama since its debut in 2019. The reality TV series follows the high-powered agents at The Oppenheim Group as they navigate the cutthroat world of luxury real estate in Los Angeles. The show currently has six successful seasons under its belt.

Therefore, whether you’ve already watched all 11 episodes of the latest instalment or have it on your weekend watch list, you’re probably eager to find out if the real estate reality show will return for a seventh season. Fortunately, the answer is yes. This article delves into what viewers can expect from the upcoming series, from new faces to jaw-dropping property listings. Here’s everything you need to know about Selling Sunset Season 7.

Selling Sunset Season 7 Release Date

The good news has arrived early for fans of Selling Sunset, as Netflix has officially renewed the show for a seventh season as well as a sixth season in June 2022. The sixth season was released just a few days ago, on May 19, 2023.

However, the two-season production schedule has become a bit of a tradition for the show, as seasons 2 and 3, as well as seasons 4 and 5, were filmed concurrently and released on Netflix with shorter in-between delays. So, the same is expected this time around, and we expect the seventh season to release on Netflix by fall 2023.

Selling Sunset Season 7 Plot

Drama is an integral part of “Selling Sunset,” and Season 7 will likely be no exception. From personal conflicts to professional rivalries, the agents’ relationships will be tested, creating tense and dramatic moments. Whether it’s clashes over client acquisitions or personal disagreements, the series promises to deliver the fiery exchanges and emotional confrontations that have become synonymous with the show.

The season 6 finale indicated significant transformations awaiting the O Group. Bre and Chelsea find themselves at a standstill, unable to see eye to eye after a season filled with discord. Nicole and Chrishell’s ongoing feud has escalated into a potential legal battle, following a serious accusation and subsequent drug test. Additionally, Chrishell and Mary’s friendship appears to have irreversibly deteriorated, leaving Chrishell contemplating a break from her real estate commitments to join G Flip on their tour in Australia, especially since her close friendships with Jason and Mary are no longer intact.

Selling Sunset Season 7 Cast

Netflix has yet to confirm the full season 7 cast but “Selling Sunset” has become synonymous with its cast of strong-willed and charismatic real estate agents.

It is highly likely that the primary cast members of the show will make a return, including Stause, El Moussa, Jason and Brett Oppenheim, Mary Fitzgerald, Amanza Smith, Emma Hernan, Chelsea Lazkani, and Davina Potratz (who had a reduced role in season 6). Additionally, the recently introduced characters, Young and Bre Tiesi, were confirmed to be part of season 7, and their ongoing narratives will be concluded in the upcoming episodes.

There is uncertainty surrounding El Moussa’s screen time in season 7 due to her maternity leave following the birth of her son, Tristan, on January 31. On January 14, she provided a glimpse behind the scenes by sharing a moment from a filming day at her home on an Instagram story, indicating that the scene would be included in season 7. However, after giving birth, she went on maternity leave. In a late-March interview with E! News, she mentioned that she had not received any updates from the Selling Sunset team regarding her return.

“Season 7 is filming right now, but I’ve been off maternity leave and I’ve been excited to get back to work. And so far, I’ve not been called back,” she told the outlet, describing the situation as “a little frustrating.”

A big question about the cast of season 7 revolves around the potential return of former brokers from the O Group. Christine Quinn has made it clear that she has no intention of coming back to the show, stating she wouldn’t return “in a million years.” Vanessa Villela is also unlikely to make an appearance since she has joined a competing brokerage in Los Angeles. However, Maya Vander maintains a positive relationship with the O Group, and it would be delightful to witness her presence in a future episode.

Is there any trailer?

What the cast is doing after the completion of Season 6?

Let’s delve into a couple of updates on what has transpired since the cameras stopped rolling on season 6. El Moussa has embraced motherhood, and she and her husband, Tarek El Moussa, have launched a fresh HGTV show called The Flipping El Moussas.

Jason Oppenheim and Marie Lou Nurk are still in a relationship, and over the past year, they have reached relationship milestones, including introducing each other to their respective parents and deciding to live together in Los Angeles (although Marie Lou continues to split her time between LA and Paris).

Additionally, Chrishell has recently tied the knot with G Flip! The couple exchanged vows in a whirlwind ceremony in Las Vegas, although they have confirmed that this event will not be featured in season 7.
