Salman Khan faces the Ultimate Betrayal in ‘Tiger 3’ Teaser

Salman Khan looks to face his toughest task as the Tiger 3 teaser was released.

Summing up the glimpse of the spy film, Salman says:

“Tiger is not defeated until he is dead.”

The teaser opens with Avinash Singh Rathore, better known as Tiger (Salman), recording a message, requesting help from the citizens of India.

He says: “I’ve spent the last 20 years of my life protecting India.

“Never have I asked for anything in return.”

Tiger then reveals he has been branded an “enemy” and a “traitor”. However, it is not known why.

As Indian citizens receive reports that he is “enemy number one”, Tiger explains that the country will tell his son who he truly is.

The sound of gunshots begins Tiger’s life-threatening crusade to clear his name.

The teaser continues with high-octane stunts as dozens of soldiers prepare to capture Tiger. However, he is one step ahead, swinging onto a vehicle and using the mounted gun to fire back.

He also defies gravity by jumping from a crane without a parachute.

But unlike previous films in the franchise, where the villain is unveiled, there is no sign of the antagonist.

Emraan Hashmi has been cast as the villain but his lack of appearance adds mystery as to who he is and what his motives are.

There is also no sign of Katrina Kaif’s Zoya.

The teaser only showcases Tiger’s desperate bid to clear his name, leaving fans eagerly waiting for more.

One fan said: “I am speechless.”

Another commented: “I’m going mad because the teaser of Tiger 3 is up to the mark, mind-blowing, and unbelievable action.”

Directed by Maneesh Sharma, Tiger 3 is set to release in Diwali 2023 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

Taking place after the events of War and Pathaan, Tiger 3 is the next instalment of the YRF Spy Universe and the titular character had a cameo in Pathaan.

At the end of the film, Tiger and Pathaan (Shah Rukh Khan) ruminate on their possible replacements without naming anyone.

They eventually concluded that they would have to carry on as the task of saving India could not be left to children.

Shah Rukh will have an extended cameo in Tiger 3 and Ashutosh Rana will also reprise his role as Colonel Sunil Luthra.

Colonel Luthra first appeared in War and then Pathaan.

Salman and Shah Rukh are reported to headline Tiger vs Pathaan, which is expected to commence principal photography in January 2024.

It is expected to be released sometime in 2024.
