Priyanka Chopra reveals She & Nick Jonas have Matching Tattoos

Priyanka Chopra revealed that she and her husband Nick Jonas have matching tattoos.

The actress shared the heartwarming meaning behind their ink.

Priyanka said: “I have a check and a box behind my ears.”

She went on to say that Nick has the same tattoos on his arms and she decided to get them following their engagement.

Priyanka continued: “My husband has them on his arms.

“When he proposed, he asked me that I checked all his boxes and would I check another one?”

Priyanka spoke about her other tattoos, which include one on the side of her wrist that features ‘Daddy’s lil girl’ written in her late father’s handwriting and three paw prints for her pet dogs.

She also has a map of the world on her arm. Priyanka explained:

“When I put my arm down, India’s right next to my heart.”

Reflecting on her marriage to Nick as well as their baby daughter Malti Marie, Priyanka said:

“My husband’s super thoughtful. When he’s around, everything feels like it’ll be okay.

“He’s taught me to approach things from a much calmer place. I was a tornado – still am – a mile a minute, bee-in-a-bonnet kind of person, and he’s not.

“I think our daughter is the best gift we’ve ever received.”

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have been married since 2018.

The pair welcomed a daughter in January 2022 via surrogacy.

In a joint Instagram statement, the couple said: “We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate.

“We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much.”

A few months later, the couple brought their baby girl home from the hospital after 100 days in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).

Since then, they have been celebrating all of their daughter’s milestones, including when she completed six months, and have been sharing glimpses of their life as new parents.

They recently celebrated Malti’s first birthday in style.

On an episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, Nick said:

“She did (turn 1), over the weekend. We had to celebrate…

“She went through a pretty wild journey in the earlier part of her life, and so we had to celebrate in style.”

“She’s one, she’s beautiful, she’s amazing… the best.”

Nick also spoke about Malti going through “a pretty wild journey in the earlier part of her life”, and called her beautiful, amazing and “the best”.
