As the romance fails, she travels to the United States and attempts to pick up her journalism career as a newly single woman.
The first season of 13 episodes concluded on May 3, 2023, and since then viewers have been wondering if there would be a season 2 or if this is it. Fortunately, the show has been renewed for a second season and will return with a bang.

When will Not Dead Yet Season 2 premiere?
Unfortunately, there has been no confirmation on the release date of Not Dead Yet Season 2. However, despite a spate of cancellations, the show’s fans are overjoyed that ABC has given it the go-ahead for a second season.
With the ongoing Hollywood strike, ABC and many other studios had to change up their schedule lineup and release plans. The network did, however, declare that the show will return sometime during the midseason schedule, which will run between January and March 2024.

What is Not Dead Yet season 2 about?
The series follows Nell Serrano, a broke and newly single self-described disaster, working to restart the life and career she left behind five years ago. When she lands the only job she can find ― writing obituaries ― Nell starts getting life advice from some unlikely sources, the dead people whose lives she’s writing about.
Since it has only been a few months since the show received permission for a second season, nothing regarding the second season plot has been revealed to the fans.
However, the Season 1 finale left viewers satisfied but divided over whether or not Nell and Edward’s relationship would evolve, which is expected to be resolved in Season 2. So, one thing is sure: there will be a lot of fun and adventure in Nell’s shoes.
