Nish's Future on EastEnders causes Panic for The Six f

On BBC EastEnders, The Six were left in a panic after Nish Panesar’s future was confirmed.

Viewers will know that after Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) murdered Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) on Christmas Day, The Six worked together to hide his body in the cafe, which had burnt down.

As for Nish, he was struck over the head with a glass bottle by Denise Fox (Diane Parish) after being lured to the Queen Vic.

He was initially presumed dead but it was later learnt that he was in an induced coma.

The six women at the forefront concocted a story to avoid being suspected of Keanu’s murder.

Things seemed fine but the women were soon proved wrong when builders arrived to start renovation work on the cafe.

As Linda arrived back in Albert Square after a trip to visit son Lee, she was horrified to spot the builders, and soon Suki and Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) were on the case.

After successfully halting the builders, Suki (Balvinder Sopal) rushed home to discover why they had wanted to start work so soon.

She then realised that her son Vinny Panesar (Shiv Jalota) had called them.

Suki quickly went back to the cafe and sent the builders packing, however, she and the others knew they would not be able to hold off the work for more than a couple of days.

On the January 8, 2024, episode, things only got worse when Suki received a call from the hospital.

The EastEnders episode has not aired on TV but is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.

During a crisis meeting between The Six, Suki discovered that Nish had woken up.

Denise was initially thrilled as this meant she had not killed him. But Suki was filled with dread as Nish could remember everything, meaning that their entire plan could be foiled.

EastEnders fans are predicting his next move, with one tweeting:

“Nish being awake means more drama!”

Another said:

“He’s bound to have a game plan knowing how manipulative he is and keeping everyone guessing what he’s up to.”

One fan theorised: “Nish is awake!!! NO Denise this isn’t good. 1. Nish could remember everything which means you and the rest of the Six are at risk. 2. There is a chance he could possibly fake Amnesia. 3. Sukeve would need to leave Walford regardless.”

While Nish’s condition is yet to be fully explained, what trouble could this bring for The Six and will he remember what happened?

The festive showdown was a massive hit for BBC iPlayer, bringing in 2.96 million streams.

And over the festive fortnight, the long-running soap got 26.28 million streams in total.
