Netflix’s coming-of-age romantic drama series Mismatched is returning for its second season. The streaming service released the trailer on Wednesday, Sep 21, 2022. Based on Sandhya Menon’s 2017 novel When Dimple Met Rishi, Mismatched debuted on Netflix on Nov 20, 2020. It received a positive response from audiences and critics for its plot and the performances of the lead cast members. Following the success of the first season, Netflix officially green the second season in March 2021. Mismatched Season 2 Star Cast
The series is about Rishi, a die-hard romantic who believes in traditional ways of dating. He falls for Dimple, a gamer and techie, and eventually wants to marry her. Rohit Saraf played Rishi while Prajakta Koli played Dimple Ahuja. Popular TV personality Ranvijay Singha also plays an important role. Mismatched Season 2 Plot Details and Episode Count
Based on Indian-American author Sandhya Menon’s 2017 young adult romance novel When Dimple Met Rishi, Mismatched is a coming-of-age romantic drama. The primitive plot revolves around Rishi and Dimpy. Rishi falls for Dimple, a gamer and techie, and eventually wants to marry her. Over the course of the first season, we saw how their relationship evolves. Dimple is inclined toward her career while Rishi has some other ideas cooking up. At the end of the first season, their relationship seems to be at risk following betrayals.
