Fast X Opening Day Box Office in India: The tenth movie in the Fast & Furious franchise is off to a decent start.

Fast X, the exhilarating action extravaganza led by Vin Diesel, has made a fantastic debut at the Indian box office. Early estimates suggest that on its opening day, Fast X collected around Rs 12.5 Crore at the Indian box office.

This achievement secures the second-highest opening for the franchise in India, following Fast and Furious 7 (Rs 12.03 Crore), which currently holds the distinction of being the largest non-Marvel opener in the country. Overall, Fast X registered the ninth-highest opening for a Hollywood movie in India.

Performed well in multiplexes as well as mass centres

Fast X has commenced its journey on a strong note, receiving a good response in multiplexes and mass centres. Multiplexes have spearheaded this success, accounting for a significant portion of the overall collections, approximately 57 percent, while non-national chains have also made a respectable contribution of 43 percent. As per Bollywood Hungama, Fast X has traditionally resonated with audiences in mass belts as well, resulting in a well-balanced distribution ratio that does not heavily favour national chains.

Looking for a solid opening weekend

With positive WOM and a big fan base backing it, Fast X aims to achieve a remarkable four-day weekend, targeting collections close to Rs 60 Crore. If the movie manages to hold well on Monday, it has the potential to reach the coveted century mark at the box office.

The movie’s dubbed versions are witnessing impressive collections, indicating that its audience extends far beyond the metros. This observation highlights the fact that the movie resonates with viewers beyond the confines of English-language preferences, indicating a wider reach and appeal among diverse audiences.

Fast X Global box office projection

Fast and Furious is among the most celebrated franchises in India from the West as the emotion is far more rooted and universal. The film rides on family emotions, which makes the film a lot more universal. The Hindi dubbed version of Fast X has performed exceptionally well and this speaks about the brand value of the franchise built over the years.
