First Kill

The first one on the list is a vampire show titled First Kill.  The Netflix show revolves around a teenage vampire named Juliette who’s keen to make her first kill so she can take her place among a powerful vampire family. She sets her eyes on Calliope, the new girl in town, unaware that she is a vampire hunter. The first season of the show has 8 episodes.

The Netflix summary of the show reads:

“Falling in love is tricky for teens Juliette and Calliope: One’s a vampire, the other’s a vampire hunter — and both are ready to make their first kill.”

Peaky Blinders Season 6

Premiere Date: June 10, 2022

Next on the list is the most-awaited sixth and finals season of British crime drama Peaky Blinders. A 6-episode season will bring curtains to the series that debuted on BBC in Sep 2013. The series follows the exploits of the Peaky Blinders crime gang in the direct aftermath of the First World War.

Well, this isn’t the end of Peaky Blinders’ story. Creator Steven Knight is working on a movie which we can expect in a couple of years.

Gladbeck: The Hostage Crisis

Premiere Date: June 8, 2022

This crime movie is based on The Gladbeck hostage crisis. This hostage-taking crisis happened in August 1988 in Gladbeck, North Rhine-Westphalia, West Germany. Two men with prior criminal records, Dieter Degowski and Hans-Jürgen Rösner, went on the run for two days through Germany and the Netherlands. The hostage situation ended with a shootout that killed three – two teenage hostages and a policeman. Watch the trailer on Netflix.

This 8-episode Netflix show is about a rising politician whose career is threatened when a stealthily recorded video of her s*ex life is leaked to the public.

I am super excited about this sports drama movie that stars Adam Sandler. Sandler stars as a basketball scout who discovers a promising player who has a checkered past. Sandler decides to bring this overseas player to the US and embarks on a journey to get him into the NBA.
