Waltair Veerayya release on OTT: Released in theatres on Jan 13, 2023, Waltair Veerayya received mixed reviews from critics. However, the audience loved it and as a result, it went on to become a hit at the worldwide box office. Now, after more than a month after its theatrical release, this Chiranjeevi starrer is set to premiere on OTT.
Netflix India announced that Waltair Veerayya will be available for streaming from Feb 27, 2023. The official Twitter handle of Netflix India South tweeted: “Mega Force Festival is right in front of you! Waltair Veerayya will be available on Netflix on February 27th, and we can’t wait.”

Waltair Veerayya Star Cast
The movie stars Chiranjeevi as the titular character alongside Ravi Teja, Shruti Haasan, and Catherine Tresa. Directed by Bobby Kolli, it also stars Rajendra Prasad, Prakash Raj, Bobby Simha, Nassar, Nassar and others.

The plot involves a fisherman and his friend, egoistic ACP Vikram Sagar IPS, who stops Veerayya from smuggling drugs.

Released in theatres on Jan 13, 2023, Waltair Veetayya clashed with Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Veera Simha Reddy. Both movies got off a superb opening in Telugu states, however, Waltair Veetayya won this box office battle by a huge margin.
Made on a budget of around Rs 150 Crore, the movie collected a total of Rs 233.5 Crore worldwide. It recently completed a 30-day run in Telugu cinemas.
Waltair Veetayya Digital and Theatrical Rights
The worldwide theatrical rights of the movie were sold at a cost of Rs 88 Crore. Netflix acquired the digital streaming rights for Rs 20 Crore while Gemini TV acquired the satellite rights for an undisclosed amount.
