Walker: Independence’s first episode will air on October 6 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. In keeping with The CW’s autumn 2022 primetime schedule, new episodes will run on Thursday nights following new episodes of Walker season 3.
Whether or when Walker: Independence will make its UK debut is currently unknown.
Walker: Independence Plot
“Walker: Independence” centers on Abby Walker, a wealthy and hard-headed Bostonian who witnesses the death of her husband as they travel to the West. Abby arrives in Independence, Texas, after running into Calian, a curious Apache tracker.
There, she meets a diverse group of people who are hiding from their pasts, pursuing their dreams, and keeping secrets, like Kate Carver, an eccentric burlesque dancer who might be too interested in Abby’s origins, and Kai, a soulful Chinese immigrant who owns a neighborhood restaurant/laundry and offers Abby friendship without conditions.
Additionally, Hoyt Rawlins, a cunning con man with a battered heart of gold, practically runs into Abby, and he immediately sees her as a mark.
