Written and directed by P. S. Mithran, and produced by S Lakshman Kumar, Sardar is a spy thriller that revolves around a spy who is estranged from his family due to a secret military mission and suddenly meets his police officer son.
Sardar stars Karthi in a dual role with Raashii Khanna, Rajisha Vijayan, Chunky Pandey, Laila, Murali Sharma and Munishkanth in prominent roles.

Sardar will make its digital debut on Aha Video Tamil
The post-theatrical streaming rights of Sardar were bought by Aha. It will release on Aha Video sometime in Dec 2022. The satellite rights of the film were sold to Kalaignar TV, even before production started.
