Ranveer Singh & Shaq dance to ‘Khalibali’

In a viral video, Ranveer Singh was seen teaching basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal how to dance to ‘Khalibali’ from his film Padmaavat.

The Bollywood star performed the beard-touching steps with the same amount of effort as he does in the period drama.

Meanwhile, Shaq towers over Ranveer and copies him, looking over to see if he is performing the moves correctly.

Shaq went a step further as he and Ranveer lip-synced “habibi”.

The video ended with the pair hugging.

Ranveer shared the video and wrote:

“Big Man x Bad Man! The collab you didn’t know you needed!

“Here’s Shaq doing Khalibali! Yes. You read that right! Shaq-a-bibi! @shaq (sic).”

Fans and fellow Bollywood celebrities were impressed by the unique collaboration and took to the comments section.

Varun Dhawan said: “The Shaq attack.”

Vishal Dadlani wrote: “Hahahahahahaha MASSIVE! Literally!”

Meanwhile, Dino Morea was more interested in the noticeable height difference between Ranveer and the former Los Angeles Lakers star, writing:

“He’s hugeeeee.”

The meetup happened as Ranveer Singh attended the NBA Abu Dhabi Games 2022 at the Etihad Arena.

In addition to meeting Shaquille O’Neal, Ranveer met US TV host Steve Harvey.

NBA’s official Twitter account posted a video of the trio sitting together and having fun.

While Shaq appeared to be on a video call, Ranveer was heard saying:

“Habibi come to Abu Dhabi.”

Since being posted, the video has been viewed over 249,000 times and it has received over 5,300 likes.

Ranveer is India’s NBA ambassador and is frequently seen attending NBA events.

Previously, Ranveer was seen interacting with Milwaukee Bucks player Giannis Antetokounmpo.

He was also part of the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game, playing with the likes of rappers Quavo, Anuel AA and Jack Harlow, NFL player Myles Garrett and comedian Tiffany Haddish.

Ranveer received a huge ovation from the fans and even the commentators were surprised by all the attention he was getting.

They said: “This Bollywood star has over 38 million Instagram followers. That’s right, I said over 38 million.”

On the acting front, Ranveer will be seen with Alia Bhatt in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, which will mark Karan Johar’s return to directing.

The film also stars Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan, releasing sometime in 2023.
