Mika Singh shares Grief over Sidhu Moose Wala’s Death

Mika Singh has paid tribute to the late Sidhu Moose Wala and has also urged the Punjab government to take action.

Sidhu Moose Wala was shockingly shot dead in the Jawaharke village of Mansa district in Punjab on Sunday, May 29, 2022.

He had been inside his SUV when the broad daylight shooting happened.

Two other people were in the vehicle with Moose Wala at the time and were injured by the gunfire.

Sidhu Moose Wala was pronounced dead on arrival at the civil hospital in Mansa.

The incident took place a day after his security was withdrawn by the Punjab police.

The killing was later reported to be gang-based rivalry.

Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar posted a message on social media claiming responsibility for the shooting along with Sachin Bishnoi Dhattranwai and the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

A second message was then posted on the Facebook account of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi reaffirming their collaborative involvement and act of revenge.

Celebrities reacted to the killing and now, Mika Singh has expressed his grief.

Posting a picture with the late singer-politician, Mika stated that he has always been a proud Punjabi but feels ashamed now.

After news of Sidhu Moose Wala’s death came to light, Mika wrote:

“I always say I’m proud to be Punjabi but today I feel shame to be saying the same.

“A young talented boy just 28 years old, so popular and with such a bright future ahead of him @sidhu_moosewala killed in Punjab by Punjabis.

“May God bless his soul and he rest in eternal peace. My prayers are with his family.

“Request to #Punjabsarkar please take strong action against these criminals. Heartbreaking.”

Mika Singh also shared a video with Sidhu Moose Wala inside a restaurant, along with several others

The video showed Mika introducing Sidhu Moose Wala and then presenting him with an award.

He captioned the video: “Bro @iSidhuMooseWala, you’ve gone way too soon.

“People will always remember your name, fame, the respect you earned and all your hit records. You made those and they will never be forgotten.”

Mika had revealed that Sidhu Moose Wala had received threats from gangsters.

He said: “Four years ago he used to talk about threats from gangsters.

“Some gangsters might have tried to extort money from him this time.

“Just last week he came to Mumbai. He told me that he could roam freely in Mumbai, without any security. I asked him to move to Mumbai in the future.”
