Farzi Season 2: Is it Happening?
Shahid recently stated in an interview that there would be a sequel to Farzi, but it will take some time to be released. Additionally, he mentioned that a show’s sequel typically takes two to three years to release. We can therefore expect Farzi season 2 to debut in 2025 or perhaps later.
Farzi Season 2: What will it be about?
The show revolves around Sunny, an artist in India after he fails to keep his grandfather’s revolutionary printing press in business. Disappointed by the income inequality in India. he decides to team up with his best friend Firoz to make counterfeit money.
However, their schemes naturally fail, and they encounter difficulties from criminals like Mansoor in addition to police officers like Michael. The series shares continuity with Raj & DK’s spy series The Family Man whose third season is expected to premiere in 2024.
In the last episode of the first season, Mansoor sets fire to Madhav’s printing press, seemingly killing him. Angered, Sunny goes on a rampage — he kills many of Mansoor’s men and sets fire to the cash, promising Mansoor that he will be back for more.
Season 2 will therefore pick up where the first season left off and shed additional light on the character and life of Sunny.
