Diljit Dosanjh teases Collaboration with Tory Lanez

Diljit Dosanjh took to his social media handles on February 1, 2022, to share a series of photos in which he stood next to Tory Lanez.

The post, which has since amassed over 403,000 likes on Instagram, shows Diljit Dosanjh and Tory Lanez in Miami.

The pictures are from the music video shoot of the duo’s upcoming collaboration.

Tory Lanez is an award-winning recording artist from Canada.

The rapper is recognised for the hit songs ‘Freaky’, ‘Broke In A Minute’ and ‘Luv’.

Diljit’s post was captioned: “MIAMI HEAT.”

The behind-the-scenes pictures delighted fans and have led to speculation that their song will be featured on Diljit’s recently-announced EP.

On the occasion of his birthday, the Punjabi singer took to Instagram and shared the news with his 12.6 million followers.

Diljit’s Drive Thru EP will join his discography of popular albums including G.O.A.T, Roar and Back 2 Basics.

Sung by Diljit Dosanjh, the Drive Thru EP includes music by producer Intense and lyrics by Raj Ranjodh and Chani Nattan.

The news of Diljit and Tory’s collaboration comes days after the Punjabi singer shared a picture on Instagram with Tanzanian artist Diamond Platnumz.

In the caption, Diljit wrote: “Brother Diamond Platnumz. What a smooth silk voice he has man.”

This is not the first time Diljit Dosanjh and Diamond Platnumz have worked together.

The musical duo was pictured in July 2021 and confirmed a collaboration was on the way.

However, the song was abruptly scrapped, much to the disappointment of Diljit Dosanjh’s loyal fanbase.

Whilst the news of the current collaboration started as a rumour, it has now been confirmed via Diljit’s manager Sonali Singh.

The singer’s manager also reshared Diljit’s picture on her Instagram Story.

Diljit’s recently released track ‘Unforgettable’, produced by Intense, is also expected to feature on the upcoming EP.

The artwork of the EP, which has a similar vibe to Diljit’s MoonChild Era album, was designed by Abhidyu.

Diljit Dosanjh also hinted at the EP’s tracklist in a quirky way on his 38th birthday.

He used food emojis to tease the names of the songs that will feature on the Drive Thru EP.

According to the emojis, the names of his upcoming songs relate to a ‘peach’, ‘noodles’, ‘ice cream’, ‘chilli’ and ‘lemon’.

The release date of Diljit Dosanjh’s Drive Thru EP is yet to be disclosed.
