Day 2 Box Office: Shehzada & Ant-Man 3 Shows Limited Growth
Shehzada & Ant-Man 3 second day box office collection: Both new releases of the week saw limited growth on Saturday.
Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan dominated the box office for almost a month. It shattered almost all box office records for a Bollywood movie in India. The action entertainer revived the box office and the industry was hoping Kartik Aaryan’s Shehzada to continue the pace. However, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’s official remake has failed to make any impact at the box office.
Shehzada Day 2 Box Office Collection
The Rohit Dhawan directional action-comedy recorded a poor start and managed to earn only Rs 6 Crore on its opening day. With mixed reviews and negative WOM coming in, Shehzada’s box office was sealed on the very first day. The movie recorded limited growth on its second day despite Mahashivratri holiday. As per early estimates, Shahzada collected Rs 6.5 Crore on its second day. The first weekend collection would be around Rs 20 Crore.

It is almost certain that the movie will crash on Monday and may even struggle to cross the Rs 40 Crore mark in its lifetime. One more Hindi remake of the south Indian movie has tanked at the box office.
Ant-Man 3 Day 2 Box Office Collection in India
Talking about the other major release of the week, Marvel’s Ant-Man And The Wasp – Quantamania, also saw limited growth on its second day. The third instalment of the Ant-Man movie franchise collected Rs 9 Crore on its opening day. The film is the sixth-highest Hollywood opener post pandemic after Avatar – The Way Of Water, Spiderman – No Way Home, Dr Strange: Multiverse Of Madness, Thor: Love And Thunder and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
The movie has received mixed reviews from critics and overall WOM is also mixed. As per early estimates, Ant-Man And The Wasp – Quantamania collected Rs 10 Crore on its second day at the Indian box office. Ant-Man 3 is looking to close its box office journey under Rs 70 Crore.
Pathaan Day 25 Box Office Collection
Despite two big releases, Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan is still driving the fans crazy. On its 25th day, it collected around Rs 4 Crore, a growth of 65% from Day 24. The total collection (Hindi) stands at around Rs 494 Crore.

Shah Rukh Khan starrer will become the first Rs 500 Crore Hindi grosser on upcoming Tuesday. It still has a chance to beat the lifetime numbers of the Hindin version of Baahubali 2 (Rs 511 Crore).
