Bride-to-be Mouni Roy celebrates Haldi & Mehendi Ceremony

Mouni Roy is set to tie the knot with Suraj Nambiar on January 27, 2022.

Ahead of the big day, the actress’ fan pages and wedding guests have been sharing glimpses from the haldi and mehendi ceremonies.

For her haldi ceremony, Mouni Roy wore a white outfit with white floral jewellery.

Suraj Nambiar also wore an all-white outfit for the occasion.

Both of them sat in large, golden tubs as their family and friends prepared for the ceremony.

For the mehendi ceremony, Mouni wore a yellow lehenga with large earrings and a maang tikka.

She sat on a pink sofa as mehendi artists decorated her hands with henna.

Mouni’s Naagin co-star Arjun Bijlani is attending the wedding in Goa along with his wife Neha Swami.

The couple flew to Goa on January 25, 2022.

The actor has been sharing regular updates from Goa on his Instagram Story.

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the wedding will have a small number of attendees.

The wedding is reported to be a beach ceremony near North Goa’s Vagator beach.

The traditional Bengali wedding will be a two-day ceremony.

Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar will host a lavish reception once the Covid-19 situation improves.

A source close to the couple said: “A five-star resort has been booked as the venue.

“Although invites have started going out, the guests have been asked to be tight-lipped about it.

“All the guests have been asked to carry their vaccination certificates.”

Whilst Mouni and Suraj have never publicly addressed their relationship, the actress recently accepted congratulations from the paparazzi, seemingly confirming her wedding date.

As per reports, Mouni met the Dubai-based businessman in 2019.

Neither has ever posted pictures with each other on their social media handles.

Mouni Roy rose to fame with her daily soap drama, Naagin.

Arjun Bijlani played her husband on the show.

She will soon be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra alongside Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan.

According to reports, Mouni Roy will play the antagonist in the film.

Brahmastra is produced by Karan Johar, who is reported to have been invited to Mouni’s wedding.

Other rumoured guests include Ekta Kapoor, Aashka Goradia, Shivani Malik Singh, Anuradha Khurana, Manish Malhotra and Anisha Verma.

Mouni’s rumoured ex-boyfriend and Devon Ke Dev co-star Mohit Raina also got married on January 1, 2022.

He tied the knot in an intimate ceremony.
