After a good run in theatres, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra is now set for a digital release. As per the reports coming, ‘Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva’ has been officially confirmed to be released on Disney Plus Hotstar this Diwali. ‘Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva’ is the first film in the three-film series in The Astraverse.

The movie debuted in theatres on Sep 9, 2022, and emerged as the highest-grossing Bollywood movie of 2022. Despite mixed reviews, Brahmastra managed to gross Rs 400+ globally at the box office. Though Brahmastra is still running in selected theatres, the makers have decided to opt for early OTT releases. The makers of Brahmatra have decided to give a Diwali gift to fans.

Brahmastra OTT Release Date and Platform

Brahmastra is all set to release on Disney Plus Hotstar. As per the reports coming, Bramastra will release on Oct 23, 2022, a day before Diwali. This gives the film a solid 6-week exclusive theatrical window before ‘Brahmastra’ begins streaming on OTT. Well, this is certainly a treat for fans, especially for those who failed to watch it on the big screen.

Bramastra is produced by Star Studios which is a sibling company of Star group. So, the streaming rights of the movie are acquired by Disney+ Hotstar. Brahmastra won’t be available on any other OTT Platform, except for Disney Plus Hotstar.

Though there is no official announcement yet, a Diwali OTT release will give Brahmastra a huge boost and we can expect a record-breaking viewership.
