After a series of flops, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has provided much-needed relief for Bollywood. Kartik Aaryan starrer horror-comedy has ended the dry spell at the box office. Released on May 20, the movie is having a great run at the box office. In its first weekend itself, the Anees Bazmee’s directional has crossed the Rs 50 Crore mark.

After a pretty good opening with a collection of Rs 14.11 Crore on Friday, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 recorded superb growth over the weekend. On Sunday, it went into overdrive mode, pulling crowds in metros and mass circuits.
As per early reports, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 recorded around 40% growth compared to Friday. It collected around Rs 23.5 Crore on the third day of its release.

With earnings of Rs 23.5 Crore on Sunday, the total collection of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 after the first weekend stands at around Rs 55+ Crore. This is a huge number for a movie at a time when several Bollywood biggies tanked at the box office.
