So, superstar Vijay’s action-thriller movie Beast has finally made it to the theatres. But some bad news is already coming up for the stakeholders. As per social media reports, the movie falls prey to piracy sites. The reports suggest that infamous piracy websites like Tamilrockers, Tamilblasters, Kuttymovies, and Isaimini have leaked the theatrical print of the full movie online. Not only on piracy sites but several Telegram channels have also leaked Beast full movie for free download.
Well, this is not the first time a Bollywood or south Indian movie fell prey to these piracy sites. The piracy websites are active these days and almost all movies released in theatres or on OTT are getting leaked. Last month SS Rahamouli’s RRR and Prabhas’ Radhe Shyam were also leaked on these sites. Last year, Vijay’s Master was also leaked for free download on the day of its release. Illegal distribution of the new movies is causing a huge financial loss to the industry.
Beast is off to a terrific opening
Released amidst a huge craze, Vijay starrer sleek action thriller is off to a tremendous opening in the home state, Tamil Nadu. The Housefull boards are back post-pandemic. Beast opened with around 90% occupancy in Tamil Nadu. It is expected to collect at least Rs 40 Crore on its opening day in Tamil Nadu. Beast debuted on around 6500 theatres worldwide.
